T-MINUS TEN WEEKS and QUICK SUMMER RECAP

We've had a crazy summer so far, full of good-byes peppered by mechanical malfunctions, drama, transition, responsibility, and most of all anticipation (this fall we have Kindergarten AND a new kid coming to the house).
"Little Sister" will be making her entrance in just about ten weeks. We're trying to shuffle things and prepare things and make a place for her. Haven't nailed down a name yet, but we did order a crib, so that's a start.

Anyway, here are some random shots of the summer so far:

Home again home again let's head to the strip...

to get some great stuff to engulf in smoke and flame for Father's Day.

Moving on to some leaping water dogs at the Big Butler Fair....

 There was also a lot of fair fare, good people watching (shame on me for loving that part so much), interesting accessories of rural life (use your imagination, you'll be close),  and some fun farm animals to see (like a one day old calf and a lamb that was 30 minutes old), but the boys mostly had their sights set on... TRUCKS!
 
Big Butler Fair is comparable to Christmas in sheer joyful anticipation for Linus each year.  Big Rig Day is a must at our house.  This year we got to take our buddy Oliver along.
