Christmas Highlight Reel

First off, YES Linus has two black eyes in these pictures. It's a painful story but in the interest of staving off rumors that I flat out beat him, I'll tell it. I was carrying him on my shoulders at the mall and I went to get him down and his feet got caught in my hair clip and I dropped him on his face onto a tile floor. In front of lots of people. And he is now terrified of any and all food courts and/or cafeterias. Ok. I told it. Mother of the Year, I know.
Now, onto the Christmas pics. Oh, while I'm at the self-deprecation thing I may as well also point out that yes I did in fact neglect to get a single Christmas picture with myself in it. I'm not just being a snob about looking fabulous in photos, I'm just not in any of them.
NOW I can post the pictures.

The boys coming down stairs to greet the morning:

Tool Man Linus:

Chef Linus (with toolman tool belt) putting his new "groceries" away in his cupboards:
Dr. Linus giving Daddy an exam:
(the medical kit came with a pager and when Linus saw it he said "I don't do home call". Definitely the son of a resident.)
Daddy got a pasta maker and was giddy like a school girl:

The customary orange from the stocking:

The localest of local Fire Departments:

Our little house in its Holiday Glory:

Here's to hoping the black eyes will be funny some day. Sigh.

Loving the "I don't do home call!" Also Richie, Matt, Carter, and I are available anytime after jan 23 to come over for a nice pasta dinner. Linus's PJs are adorable.

He is so cute. When Em was 2 I took her to the park around the corner from th Montondon's. I was so busy talking to Holly that I wasn't holding her hand and she fell. She chipped her two front teeth. Since they still have not fallen out yet I still look at them and think "Bad Mommy". You however, are a great Mommy.
